Fast and Cheap Hungarian EU Residency-Price Increase from 2015

Because of the Hungarian Residency Bonds Program’s success, the bond investment required will raise from next year. By investing into Hungarian Residency Bonds, foreign nationals can obtain a Hungarian EU residency permit. The residents and their families can travel, and stay visa free in the Schengen area. After 6 months of residency, the Hungarian residence permit can be converted into a permanent residence permit which is valid for life.

Hungary issued the Hungarian Residency Bonds with a face value of €250,000 under legislation approved in 2012. The program became successful at the speed of light. By the end of August 2014 the Hungarian Government Debt Management Agency (ÁKK) sold 1102 residency bonds. The popularity of the program allowed the government to recently submit a bill to the Parliament that would raise the face value of the residency bonds to €300,000 from January 1st 2015.

The Hungarian Residency Bonds are sold currently at €250,000, are the cheapest such securities in the European Union and demand for them is growing fast. After the increase of the required amount the Hungarian Residency Bonds will still remain competitive on the European residence permit market.

Until the end of this year the applicants can still buy their EU residency permit for the same lower amount through the Hungarian Residency Bond Program. The process of obtaining the Hungarian EU residency is straightforward and there is no red tape. If all the paperwork is in order, the residency permit is issued in 8 days, a record in the EU.

There are only 7 bond agents, who were approved by the Economics Committee of the Parliament of Hungary, who are permitted to offer participation in the Program by foreign nationals. As the leading specialist offering participation in the Hungarian Residency Bond Program, Discus Holdings, its management and its affiliates have more than 20 years of experience in international migration, residency and immigration matters.
