Dominican passport holders can enter 137 countries visa-free including the European countries in the Schengen Area and the UK. Applicants can obtain the passport after a two months-long process.
Foreign investors can obtain the citizenship of Dominica under two options. They can make a direct contribution of 100,000 USD in the case of a single investor. A family of four people must contribute 200,000 USD for the naturalisation. The other option is to purchase residential real estate in Dominica. The minimum amount of investment is 200,000 USD; there are additional legal fees for the legal service and for the family members to qualify. After the successful immigration process, the Dominican citizen must keep the real estate for three years.
